Re: the cognitive processing that makes us feel like we know celebrities-- I've realized that this is why I can't watch award shows, especially the emmys! I watch and love TV so much, that it feels like an event when all my friends are together and I am not there, so I can't be In On the whole experience.

The album is not about finding ~~meaning~~ in the unplug, but about climate anxiety (Leader of a New Regime), legacy (Oceanic Feeling), public eye (Dominos), etc and her look and outlook are more about how everything is fucked, nothing really means anything, so let go/ live the day to day. Also Billie's album also discusses the debrand (in Not My Responsibility).
