Avi has a strong voice and this had me cracking up! To the point that my BF on the other end of the couch asked What are you reading?! Now I might have to watch Legend with him.
My dad is a topographical expert and cartographer and always likes to point out that if life were fair, the Mississippi should actually be called the Allegheny because the Allegheny River feeds to Monongahela and the Mississippi, but is the origin point for both. But alas, life isn’t fair and the Allegheny remains a relatively unknown tributary.
I first saw Legend on a whim because Labyrinth was checked out at the video store. It was the first thing I ever saw Tim Curry in, been a fan ever since. Another deep cut is The Worst Witch, where he makes a surprising appearance as Fairuza Balk’s wizard mentor.
