Because ultimately I’m less interested in whether Chapelle is worthy of being a thought leader and more interested in how we, as a culture, respond to bad ideas. But I guess that’s an essay for another time. i’m weeks late to the party (saved up my dear danny listening experience because it’s truly a highlight of my month, so thank you both and this is me coming out as pro-danny), but each time i listen to an ep i’m reminded that i simply *need* to know— is danny finished with the CBD experiment? and did the person (was it a doctor? his therapist? it’s been so long i forget…) ever find out that he was smoking weed on the side?? did she lambast him for destroying the integrity of the experiment? plz have danny update us, if he feels comfortable sharing!!
You were wishing that public debates still happened and I’m here to tell you they still happen!! (Up here in Toronto, Canada.) I haven’t personally watched any of them and I don’t think there have been any live audience ones since before the pandemic but my dad highly recommends the Munk Debates. They poll the audience before and after the debate and the winner is whoever changes more minds.
I really enjoyed listening to the question and subsequent convo about navigating body image on the personal and political level. I’ve been having similar conversations with my group of friends lately so I loved hearing your perspectives - thanks!!
I missed the Danny drama I guess but just dropping in to say I love his eps, he's super funny and it's refreshing to hear such straight forward perspectives. I think he rounds out the answers in surprising ways! Thanks for the pod I always look forward to it!
Is Danny with Kiki or is Danny not with Kiki? As a huge Danny fan I want to know the state of his romantic life, but he oscillates between seemingly present tense Kiki references and past tense references. What’s good Danny?
Hahahahaha! love this. I asked the cologne question. 6 plumbs or whatever was def an over exaggeration (or was it?!) 🤣. When I told my husband they put more on to spite me while we laughed endlessly. Yeah, we good, I think we are going to married for a long time.
