I hope I'm not in the minority here, but I enjoyed the editing content! (So please don't take them away!) I looked up "Revision is my God" right after and it was exactly what I needed to read. Also, big fan of the new format. Would love to hear more conversations with Avi and Harling in the near future 🌝
Love the new format! I appreciate that you let the conversations play out a little longer. So often a podcast is just so so only because conversations are cut short (or kept on surface level) for time reasons and not because the topic / course of the convo calls for it. The part about editing was great – definitely not boring! Looking forward to the next one!
This was a delight - normally I listen to the podcast on my way to work on a Tuesday morning and I got to listen to it there and back today. A thoughtful and thought-provoking bookend to my day ✨
Loved these conversations - really enjoyed hearing Avi's POV and the way you two casually laughed at each other's quirks was a highlight. I feel like that's when you really know someone, when you can understand and accept your partner's strengths and weaknesses while simultaneously find a way to continue to grow and learn together. Harling was a treat to listen to as well, what a pleasure to listen to two friends shoot the shit but also challenge each other by asking questions that require genuine answers. It was not too long, it was *not long enough*!!! Thank you for this.
Really enjoyed listening to this! The length was perfect, I certainly don’t turn to podcasts for superficial content so it was great to hear you really dive into each of the topics. LOVED listening to you and Harling talk about writing and editing. I’m a postgrad student so academic writing is a daily thing for me, and even though the style is different every tip was helpful. I recognised many as something I subconsciously try to do while writing but has never vocalised before, so it was cool to hear you talk about it at length. Also agree with the commenter below who pointed out that often writing is the best way to process a concept and order your thoughts. I often find that if I don’t understand an idea I can often get a grasp on it through writing it out. Looking forward to the next episode!

Love this variation! Can you load this to a platform that we can listen even when our phone screen is off? This is great to listen to during a walk but it shuts off after 1 min bc it’s loading off a web browser (vs playing on Spotify so that it can continue to run even while the screen is off)
